Today will make my life a little easier,
I will not deny myself the small mercies that bring ease.
I will be my own helper,
I will come behind myself,
And double shoulder my own burden.
Today I will see my future self as someone worthy of help,
I will stretch my hand through time,
I will join hands with her,
And together we will push,
Together we will win.
