I miss playtime,
Those minutes in the midst of the school day,
Where we were unbridled,
And could behave however our freedom compelled us.

I wonder what playtime could be now,
Now that we are mature,
And wise,
What would happen if we were unencumbered by life’s cares,
For just a moment?
