Suffer me a little silence,
To hear the whispers
To discern the visions,
To know the truth.
For in the stillness,
My scream will come forth
As pain and contemplation,
Give birth to thought.
Give me a moment
To gather my thoughts.
I need some rest,
Some time
To corale
These wild thoughts,
And tame them,
Into words.
Indulge me with a measure of respite,
So that I might
Command
These words,
These unruly soldiers
Into an army,
And send them marching
In formation,
To tell my story
To every nation.
