They took all of their treasures
And began to build a castle made of gold.
As they built they learnt many crafts,
And they discovered new things.
That which they needed and did not exist,
They created,
And when faced with problems too hard to decipher,
They reclined in slumber,
And rising from their peaceful sleep,
Solutions greeted their waking forms.
The castle was a beacon,
Catching the sun and throwing it across the land,
Shining light into discouraged hearts,
Where treasures lay also.
The castle was a refuge,
Safe harbour for the hearts, minds and bones
Of all who would enter in.
