The heat had me cowering,
Curling up into a ball,
Making my self
Small
Seemed a reasonable course of action.
But the wind came behind me,
Cooled me down,
Steadied my nerves,
Emboldened my resolve,
And I stood up,
I breathed in,
I went forth.
The heat had me cowering,
Curling up into a ball,
Making my self
Small
Seemed a reasonable course of action.
But the wind came behind me,
Cooled me down,
Steadied my nerves,
Emboldened my resolve,
And I stood up,
I breathed in,
I went forth.
